Beginners Adult Tennis Clinic (May 14th-16th)

Summer Women's Doubles Tennis (May 20th-Aug 26th)
The Summer Women's Doubles Tennis is a social and competitive team tennis program for ladies ages 18 and up. Players interested should know how to keep score, basic serve, full court rally and have thorough knowledge of the game. All matches will be played at Shevans Park on Monday evenings from 5-8 pm. Crystal Coast Junior Tennis Team  (June 4th- July 25th)
We are very excited to offer Junior Team Tennis, a competitive tennis program for ages 12-14.  Those interested in playing must be intermediate players and know how to keep score, basic serve, full court rally and have thorough knowledge of the game.  Matches will be played between Shevans Park and Fort Benjamin on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  Player interest meeting will be held on May 4th at Fort Benjamin Rec Center, 10 am.  For further information, please contact Andre Perez, Recreation Supervisor (Athletics) at (252)726-5083 Ext. 703 or andre.perez@moreheadcitync.org.

Youth Tennis Camp Level One  (June 17th-20th)
Youth Tennis Camp Level One will offer an exciting tennis experience for BEGINNERS, ages 7-14. Concentration will be placed on basic strokes, building rallying strokes, tennis rules and how to keep score. All sessions will be held at Shevans Park Tennis Courts between 9:00am and 12:00pm. Youth Tennis Camp Level Two/Three (June 24th-27th)
Youth Tennis Camp Leve Two and Three will offer an exciting tennis experience for ages 7-17. Level Two is for INTERMEDIATE players. Concentration will be placed on sustaining rallies, consistent serves and match play. Level three is for ADVANCED high school players. Concentration will be placed on strength training, agility, footwork, high intensity drills and match play. All sessions will be held at Shevans Park Tennis Courts between 9:00am and 12:00pm. Youth Soccer Camp (June 10th-13th) 
The 2024 Youth Soccer Camp offers an exciting soccer experience with an emphasis on fun, skill development, and tactics. Concentration will be placed on establishing basic skills such as shooting, trapping, dribbling, and building upon these skills through staff demonstration and instruction. Open Play Basketball
Beginning March 5th, Morehead City Parks and Recreation will begin offering Open-Play Basketball on Monday and Thursday mornings from 7 - 9 a.m. All participants must have an annual membership or pay a $10 day pass fee. Please call 252-726-5083, ext. 701 for more information. 

All Abilities Basketball
We are excited to offer All Abilities Basketball from February 7th through June 5th, 2024 . This is a thrilling program where participants will learn fundamental basketball skills, conduct light conditioning exercises, and develop social skills. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate on Wednesdays from 4p.m to 5p.m at the Morehead City Parks and Recreation Center. Youth Indoor Volleyball
Morehead City Parks and Recreation is excited to offer Youth Indoor Volleyball program for ages 9-11 and 12-14.  Matches will be held on Mondays and Thursdays evening in our Recreation Center Gymnasium.  Player Assessments for 9-11 age group will be held April 15th from 5-6 p.m at the Morehead City Recreation Center. Games begin on April 22nd. Coaches will conduct player selection immediately following assessments and notify players of their team. Open Play Pickleball
